Where did October go? I swear it was still the middle of September yesterday.
I have been a traveling fiend for the past few weeks. First, hubby and I went to Kentucky for a few days to hang out and to see the University of Wisconsin-Madison Badgers play at Indiana (not a pretty game even though the Badgers won). I got back in time to do a few loads of laundry then I was off to Adam Urbanski’s Attract Clients Like Crazy bootcamp. Again, I was home long enough to pet the dogs and say “hi” to the hubby before I was back on a plane to San Jose. This I time I spoke at Kelly O’Neil’s, UpLevel Strategies, UpLevel Intensive.
And tomorrow I’m back on the plane to Los Angeles to meet with my mastermind group. Ye gads!
There’s no question that all of this traveling is exhausting, but there’s also no question that it’s worth it. My business has exploded since I started doing all of this. Simply put, there’s no substitute for getting in front of people and shaking their hands (not to mention learning all of the new tips and tricks I can then share with my clients).
On the other hand, I’m very much looking forward to being home next week. The trick is to find a happy balance between traveling and all its benefits and being at home working in a more relaxed setting. Everyone’s balance is different and sometimes it’s just a matter of testing and trying new things before you figure out what your balance is.
