I know many of you reading this ARE experts — you just may wish you were paid more than you already are. So here’s one thing you can start to work on right now.
The bigger your platform is as an expert, the easier it will be to charge more (because people will be expecting you to charge more) and get it.
Easier said than done, right? So, how do you do that? Well, chances are as an expert you’re already sharing your expertise on a regular basis.
I can’t hear you.
Okay so if you’re NOT sharing your expertise on a regular basis, then that’s the first thing you need to work on.
Now, it’s one thing for me to say “share your expertise more” and quite another for you to do it. That’s why I’m a big believer in you choosing the marketing strategy that excites you the most and just do that.
(Yes it really can be that easy. But you DO need to be diligent about how often you’re sharing your expertise for this to work.)
So pick a way you love to share your expertise — is it:
* Digital magazine
* Facebook/Google +/Linked In/Twitter (or just one)
* Or something else?
And just do that.
It’s much better to be a master in one area then it is to be half-baked in a bunch. (Not to mention you’re probably going to be far more willing to do something you love instead of a bunch of things you don’t really care for.)
